I honestly have to say that I am at the happiest point in my life as an educator! I retired after 36 years in the classroom from starting as a third grade teacher, then many years as an eighth grade teacher and then the last 10 years: 5 years as a 6th grade teacher and 5 years as a 7th grade teacher. I guess one could say I had run the “full gamut” in education. I have a Master’s degree in Middle School education and a National Board Certification in Middle School Language Arts. I have one son and live in Laurel Park with my husband and three dogs!
