I was born in Western New York, was a part of a military family, and moved and lived along the east coast. I am an ardent canoeist and hiker. I’ve hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, hiked to the highest point east of the Mississippi River, as well as canoed the entire Suwannee River in Florida on five different occasions. Now I travel the country with my wife and kids to hike, camp, and canoe wherever we can; and go to Disney World. I come to TMCS, and bring my own two kids to be students here, after spending 8 years in wilderness education and 10 years in public education, the last 8 years in special education. I’m certified in middle and high school English language arts as well as Special Education. I enjoy the energy and curiosity that kids have and try use those things to make them life-long learners and help them have fun along the way. I am excited to be a part of the TMCS team.
