Physical Education

Anthony Wallace

My name is Anthony Wallace and I have been with The Mountain Community School since 2016. I was born in upstate New York and attended SUNY Brockport. I graduated in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education.

I moved to Charleston, South Carolina shortly after where I taught Physical Education/Health. I also coached Middle School Lacrosse and Basketball and was the Assistant Athletic Director at my school. I recently got married this July and moved to Western North Carolina with my wife and our Siberian Husky. We are all very excited to start this new chapter of our lives.

Physical Education FAQ

Your child will be graded on participation, behavior, and good sportsmanship.  Students will not be graded on their athletic ability.  Here at TMCS we recognize that all children are different and we encourage students to try their best at all times.

Students will be participating in a wide variety of activities.  Examples are team building, cooperative games, tag games, fitness activities, sports activities (basketball, football, etc), and low organizational games.
